Outstanding service from waiters and bartenders at every visit! Unique menu featuring a mix of German and American classics. Drink menu features a fast-paced rotation of local and national craft beers, so there’s always something new to try!

I ate at the Bavarian Lodge yesterday for lunch and was very happy with the food and service. The meals have so much food I had plenty to take home for dinner. We sat at the bar and were served by Hunter and Tyler and then went above and beyond. I am very unfamiliar with German food and they gave great recommendations and my meal was outstanding. Hunter and Tyler did a great job and made the visit perfect. There is an option in the lower left corner of the menu that let's you pick two or three entrees and sides. I thought that was the best deal to try a variety of different food. I will definitely go back.

Incredible food and the atmosphere is gorgeous and relaxing. Really adds to the full experience. I ordered the Hunter's schnitzel. The gravy was rich and creamy, and the schnitzel had a nice crust to it. For the appetizer we ordered the german potato pancakes which were also incredible. The notes of garlic made it stand apart. The liver dumpling soup was very different than the salty beef soup I'm used to from Bohemian restaurants, this one was much more oniony and had sweet notes to it. Overall a great experience, and the flavors and atmosphere made the price completely worth it!

Excellent place for German food and drink. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. There are many different types of beers available here. Parking can be difficult at times, especially during October... (You know why...). Highly recommended.

Such a Great Place! The food is delicious, traditional, hot and plentiful! The prices are fair. The menu is well stocked and the beer list is expansive. We have gone back several time and have always been happy.

Stopped in here for the weekly man night dinner and also the hidden hand tap takeover. The menu was so stacked with all phenomenal options and the beer menu was just as good too. Atmosphere was lively. Service was great. Already lookin forward to a double back to explore the menu further.

We went on a Saturday afternoon, busy but not to busy, food was good, atmosphere we were sat next to a super loud party, other then that a great visit, been wanting to try this place for a while now

After driving past a zillion times and trying to go during various closed hours, we finally had a meal at Lisle's German HQ, the Bavarian lodge. Quite a spread we sampled. Ordered Pretzel platter & wurst platter, while we decided what to order for main. The kids loved the hot fresh pretzels & mildly spicy mustard. Cheese spread was also served w pretzels. The wurst sampler were sliced thin and paired with a light horseradish cream sauce & the same mustard as pretzel. Tasty stuff. Ordered stuffed cabbage rolls, meatloaf, roast pork. The spetzle was a new noodle experience for the kids, they were hesitant at first but went to town, one had it plain, the other with gravy. Soup of the day was veggie & was also a big hit. Everything was just exceptional. Idk what they did to the warm sauerkraut but wow was it good. I'm guessing butter or another type of fat emulsified into it. Definitely far tastier than the cold Kraut in my home fridge! We also ordered potato pancakes, decadent deep fried treat paired w apple sauce & sour cream. Yum. Ordered too much and a few boxes came home. Service was fast & friendly. Staff worked well together. You should know: your party will not be seated until all guests are present upon arrival. I would definitely return.

First time trying a German restaurant and we loved everything! Entrees and the sides were delicious and service was quick as well.

Update 2/14/24 We came here spontaneously close to 8 pm. We had no issues finding parking in the lot, but the lines were hard to see. It would be nice if the lines were either more visible or more lighting. You guys do not need a reservation, believe it or not, not every restaurant has to have a reservation page. We walked in and were immediately seated. Service was amazing. The staff was very attentive and kind. This is a great place for grabbing drinks, they have an extensive beer selection. I wanted to try more of the menu vs the last time. We ordered a bunch of items. -German potato pancakes 5/5 - incredibly moist and flavorful. I added the applesauce and sour cream to pancakes and it increased the flavor. -liver dumpling soup 5/5 - very hearty soup. The meat itself tasted great when paired with the broth. Dumpling was very meaty and juicy. Beef stock was flavorsome. -choose 3: meatloaf, tiroler schnitzel, thuringer, boiled potatoes, garlic buttered corn 5/5 - all 3 kinds of meat were terrific, no complaints. They were beautifully cooked, tender, savory, and filling. All of the sides were tasty. -roast duck: quarter, bread dumplings 5/5 - duck was very juicy on the inside and had a thin, crispy skin. Eat both together and dip in that gravy. -scotch egg 5/5 - first time having this. Hard boiled egg wrapped in sausage mixture. Interesting texture. It was good though. -Apple strudel 5/5 - fresh, warm apples with cinnamon. Pastry dough was soft and delicious. Honestly, once you take a bite you don't want to put the fork down.
